BIOGRAPHY
Dafy Hagai is a photographer and visual artist based in London.
Her work transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary through a feminine, intuitive gaze, reimagining beauty and desire in everyday life. Through blending color, restraint, and play, she creates images that feel both tender and bold, balancing fantasy with a sharp sense of contemporary culture.
Drawing on her upbringing in suburban towns, Hagai builds worlds shaped by imagination and emotion. Her early artist books established her distinct tone and led her practice to expand into fashion and editorial photography, collaborating with leading brands and publications.
Her work is held in the permanent book collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. She also curates female-led photography projects and mentors emerging photographers through Adobe. She continues to build a visual world where femininity, fantasy, and reality coexist - inviting new ways of seeing and feeling.
